Hi everyone! It’s the start of March so today I will be telling you my monthly favourites. Hope you enjoy!
Books
I went into Waterstones to buy Paper Towns by John Green but I found myself buying More Than This by Patrick Ness which had a good review by John Green funnily enough.
A boy drowns, desperate and alone in his final moments. He dies.
Then he wakes, naked and bruised and thirsty, but alive.
How can this be? And what is this strange deserted place?
As he struggles to understand what is happening, the boy dares to hope. Might this not be the end? Might there be more to this life, or perhaps this afterlife?
I found that the blur didn’t tell you that much but after seeing the reviews, I really wanted to read it and to see if the reviews were actually true. It was an amazing book and never got me bored. The description is so gripping and I loved the plot.
Films

During half term break, my mum brought me lots of films to watch in London. One of them was Slumdog Millionaire. It was about a boy in India who grew up in the slums, who becomes a contestant on an Indian Version of ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’. He is arrested under the suspicion of cheating and he unfolds events which explain how he got the answers.
I love this film and how it just captured all emotions the boy has. I would love there to be a sequel but I think it would be better to let your imagination make up the rest.
Favourite App of the Month

My favourite app of the month is Jack n Jill which is a bit like Mario but better. It’s free on app store and has loads of levels to complete.
Makeup and Hair
It’s taken me ages to find a cheap, good and professional makeup brush but I have finally found one and it’s called Pauls Boutique Expert High Definition Blender Sponge which helps me achieve the airbrushed look for foundation.I think there is an offer for this product so go and get it fast!
My favourite hairstyle is the Messy Bun which I have finally got the cute look. I think it looks super pretty for school, work and going out with friends. For the help, I used Zoella’s video .
Bath
The Candy Mountain bath bar is the part of the February Favourites as it made my skin smooth as a baby’s bottom. When I first took it out of the bag it felt like it was going to melt in my hand at any second. The smell filled the room with a vanilla scent with a hint of strawberry. I guess that’s why there is swirls of pink and white on the mountain shape of the bar. There was so much glitter; it left my hands filled with a smooth glitter explosion. The bath filled with bubbles and the strawberry smell left the bath water pink.
Music
I have really become to love the Arctic Monkeys and their songs! All of the songs I recognised from the top charts and they are so awesome!
I didn’t get why everyone loved the Vamps. So one day, I listened to them and I fell in love ❤
I hope you have enjoyed this post and that you give it a thumbs up! Please comment any ideas for future blog posts, any of your favourites or a questions for a future Q&A.
